Situated just uphill of the Fraser River and only a few minutes from Winter Park Ski Resort, this custom home makes for the ideal single-family ski house. Natural wood materials were chosen for the exterior siding and interior ceilings to match the surrounding natural environment.

Designers selected Wood Source Select Cedar for the exterior siding on this home. The knotty grade brings variation and texture to the facade, while a natural finish maintains the cedar’s original color and allows it to weather evenly over time

The interior ceilings for this home required a clean natural look. Designers selected 
Clear Hemlock, which offers a consistent grain pattern with minimal knots. The ceilings were complete with a custom interior finish to achieve the desired aesthetic.
