Nestled above Ranch Creek with sweeping views and quiet seclusion, this Fraser retreat was designed to feel as natural as the aspens surrounding it. Natural wood materials were used throughout the home, delivering a warm and cohesive aesthetic.

Builder: Neversummer Construction

Wood Source Select Cedar Berthoud was used for the exterior siding on this project. The select knotty character adds texture and variation, while the Berthoud finish provides a consistent dark brown appearance across the exterior. This residence showcases the warmth and consistency of prefinished natural wood siding.

For the exterior soffit and interior ceiling, designers chose Wood Source Select Pine. Commonly specified for its versatility and character, pine offers a classic wood look with visible knots and variation. The exterior soffit was complete with a Wood Source Berthoud finish to match the exterior siding, while the interior ceilings retained their natural light tone. 

No mountain home is complete without wood timbers. This Fraser project incorporated Wood Source Douglas Fir Resawn timbers on the interior and exterior. Timber details add enduring strength and visual impact to any traditional or modern design.
