Wood Source FR siding is fire-retardant-treated wood (FRTW) for WUI and wildfire code compliance. FR products are pressure treated with nontoxic chemicals to reduce flame spread and smoke development. When subject to an ASTM E84 surface burning test, qualifying products achieve a Class A flame spread rating and meet additional requirements for exterior use.
