The patented ThermoWood® thermal modification process enhances the stability and performance of real wood using only heat and steam. The Wood Source Caribou finish is inspired by the ghost town of Caribou in Boulder County, Colorado.

Wood Source FR siding is fire-retardant-treated wood (FRTW) for WUI and wildfire code compliance. FR products are pressure treated with nontoxic chemicals to reduce flame spread and smoke development. When subject to an ASTM E84 surface burning test, qualifying products achieve a Class A flame spread rating and meet additional requirements for exterior use.
